About the
Position:
Responsible for implementing and managing patient safety and employee/occupational health initiatives designed to protect the health and safety of all Riverwood Healthcare Center (RHCC) team members; and promote a continuous culture of safety across the organization. This position will develop and deploy efficient, data driven safety training programs that meet regulatory compliance and reduce organizational risk while advocating for practices and procedures that protect providers, patients, and the public. Responsible for RHCC Employee Health requirements and programs, working closely with administration to address occupational health issues as they arise.
What we are looking for:
Education and Experience Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience, preferably in occupational health, employee wellness, or patient safety. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, and workplace health promotion principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse healthcare teams and employees.
Certifications and Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
Preferred:
Patient Safety certification or COHN or COHN-S certification.

Riverwood Healthcare Center is a 25-bed Critical Access hospital with three full-service clinics in Aitkin, McGregor, and Garrison. Riverwood has recently expanded its footprint in Aitkin with a state-of-the-art surgical center.
