Desired Experience & Qualifications Active RN license and credentials in Minnesota Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) highly preferred Experience working in elementary and/or middle schools Thorough knowledge of student health issues and appropriate interventions Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities Adaptability to work in varied situations, from routine care to emergency response Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff Develop and oversee care plans for students with chronic medical conditions or special health needs Administer medication and monitor students' medication schedules Conduct health screenings and immunization compliance checks Act as a resource on health education and promotion for students and staff Maintain accurate health records and ensure documentation complies with school policies Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to support overall student success This school-based contract offers an engaging professional setting where you'll contribute daily to students' growth, safety, and ability to learn.
