Role:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing professional nursing care in long-term care settings under supervision.

Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care tailored to residents' physical and psychosocial needs, following care plans. Perform assessments, administer medications and treatments, and evaluate resident data. Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to health emergencies. Document resident interactions, care outcomes, and maintain accurate records. Educate residents and families on prevention and self-care programs. Collaborate with healthcare team members and support interdisciplinary care. Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff. Perform additional duties as assigned, including technical support and resident counseling.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred. Current, unencumbered LPN license with state and/or multi-state privileges. Experience or coursework in IV therapy (if required for the role). Ability to perform clinical assessments, work effectively with teams, and maintain confidentiality. Willingness to complete continuing education and department-specific certifications.
