Key Qualifications:

Active RN license in Minnesota is required Previous experience in a school setting or pediatrics strongly preferred Demonstrated competency in tube feeding and oxygen management (monitoring O2 saturation, administering as needed) Familiarity with medication administration protocols for adolescents Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with educators, staff, and families Compassionate, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing scenarios

Position Responsibilities:

Offer direct 1:1 nursing care to a high school student in accordance with their Individualized Healthcare Plan Conduct tube feedings and manage all aspects of oxygen therapy, including monitoring and administration Administer prescribed medications safely and document treatments per district guidelines Observe student health status, report changes, and collaborate proactively with school staff Serve as a knowledgeable resource for emergency response while supporting the student's educational participation Maintain accurate health records and uphold student confidentiality This role is structured as a part-time contract position, requiring on-site attendance in the school one day per week (Mondays, 7 hours weekly) through June 2027.
