Core Qualifications:
Valid RN or LPN/LVN licensure, eligible for Minnesota school placement Prior experience in a school environment or pediatric care highly valued Demonstrated strength in tube feeding, oxygen management, and medication administration Skilled in using a Hoyer lift and stander (specific training provided) Homecare background is a plus, though not required Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to commit to a Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM schedule (per school calendar) Flexibility to cover additional Monday-only assignment for a high school student with similar nursing needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to a student on both the bus and at school Monitor and manage medical needs, including tube feeds and oxygen levels Safely assist in transfers using a Hoyer lift/stander Administer medications and respond promptly to health concerns Collaborate with educators and guardians for optimal student support
