Job Description

North Metro Surgery Center is a freestanding ambulatory surgery center located within the Blaine Medical Center. We are committed to safe, high-quality, patient-centered care delivered by a highly engaged team.
Our current specialties include:
ophthalmology, oculoplastics, general surgery, gastroenterology, podiatry, and gynecology, We hold ourselves to the highest of standards, as our center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). North Metro Surgery Center offers M-F hours, no weekends or holidays, and a small team atmosphere. We're looking for a 0.8FTE team member who will work in preop/PACU and will perform a variety of tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to, pre-procedure calls, and coordinating intra-operative patient care in a high volume and fast paced atmosphere.
Requirements:
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in nursing assessment and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, and have a current license in the state of Minnesota to practice as a registered nurse. Candidate must be positive and energetic, a strong team player, and an excellent communicator; be able to prioritize multiple tasks; and have strong decision-making skills. Preop and PACU experience preferred. BLS certification should be current. ACLS required within 3 months of hire.
