Temporary leave coverage, approximately early/mid-November through
February Potential Opportunity:
Possibility to remain on as a PRN nurse following the leave coverage
Compensation:
Starting at $45hour (W2) - based on experience We have an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 nursing support to a medically fragile middle school student in Buffalo, MN. This position will provide coverage for a staff nurse's leave from approximately early/mid-November through February , with the potential to continue in a PRN capacity following the leave. Responsibilities Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to a medically fragile middle school student throughout the school day Monitor the student's medical and respiratory status Administer medications as needed Provide G-tube feedings and management Respond to additional medical needs as they arise Perform other duties as assigned by the building administrator Provide care in accordance with applicable state laws, nursing standards, and school policies Qualifications Current Minnesota RN license Prior pediatric nursing experience Experience working with medically complex or medically fragile students preferred G-tube and medication administration experience preferred Ability to provide compassionate, attentive 1:1 care in a school setting #cat3
