What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Key Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical unit Proven skills in assessment, medication administration, care planning, and patient education Strong interpersonal abilities for effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting BLS certification (required); additional certifications a plusCore Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans Administer medications and perform treatments with precision and compassion Monitor patient progress, report changes, and document accurately Collaborate closely with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate care Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and recovery plans Maintain patient safety and infection prevention protocols at all times This contract role provides an excellent opportunity to broaden your Med Surg experience, work with a supportive team, and contribute to the well-being of your patients.
