Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, with the ability to work effectively with individuals of varying abilities, including those with disabilities. This role requires a thorough understanding of anatomy and experience in administering injections, as well as familiarity with laboratory procedures and ambulatory surgery centers. Duties Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Assist in various laboratory procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Monitor patients' vital signs and overall health status, reporting any changes to the medical team promptly. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-operative care. Participate in travel nursing assignments when required, adapting quickly to new environments and patient needs. Perform Botulinum toxin treatments under the guidance of supervising physicians as needed. Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Proficient in administering injections and knowledgeable about laboratory protocols. Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center is a plus. Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to patient care. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data protection. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Willingness to travel for nursing assignments as needed.
