1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring MN licensure, 1 year of cath lab experience with critical care background, and
BLS/ACLS
certification. Details Work in the Cath Lab of an acute care teaching hospital that is a Level 2 Trauma Center Average daily census of 10-20 cases across 4 labs with approximately 12 visits per day Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours starting at 7:30 AM On-call required every 4th weekend and 1-2 weekdays per week based on department needs Float between two campus locations as needed Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR Requirements Active MN RN license required; pending license accepted Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience with prior critical care experience required Epic/Excellian charting experience required Conscious sedation and telemetry experience required Scrub and ventilator management experience preferred Additional Information Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations Monitor patients receiving procedural sedation and manage vascular closure devices Provide care using topical hemostasis and sheath removal techniques Scrub color provided by facility No parking fees at this location First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted only within a 100-mile radius of the facility Candidates must have been gone at least 3 months since last working as permanent staff or per diem to be eligible RTO ideally limited to no more than 5 days Float assignments may include the hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals
