Job Summary We are offering a $5,000 sign on bonus for our RN - Infection Control position. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Infection Control to join our team. In this vital role, you will lead efforts to prevent and control infections, ensuring compliance with health regulation policies and infection prevention standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through leadership and education within a dynamic healthcare environment. Duties Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive infection control programs aligned with CDC guidelines, OSHA standards, and long-term care regulations. Conduct thorough patient observations and monitor infection trends to identify potential outbreaks or risks early. Review medical records, documentation, and care plans to ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols and accurate data collection. Oversee the management of infectious disease cases, including patient monitoring and infectious disease care strategies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop strategies for disease prevention and control within healthcare facilities. Maintain detailed records of infection incidents, conduct data analysis for epidemiology reports, and prepare reports for regulatory agencies such as the CDC. Ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations including HIPAA privacy rules, long-term care regulations, and OSHA standards. Provide leadership in managing infection control policies. Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current registration in the applicable jurisdiction. Strong data management skills including data collection, review of medical records, documentation review, and report generation. Leadership abilities demonstrated through team management or project oversight roles in healthcare settings. Familiarity with long-term care regulations and infectious disease protocols specific to healthcare infection prevention.
