A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.
Fairview Range is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Women's Health and Birth Center team in Hibbing, MN. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients and oversee unit operations for a shift when functioning as charge nurse. All RNs within the unit are trained to Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and lactation support. Some RNs on the unit are Certified Lactation Consultants. We offer inpatient and outpatient lactation support services through IBCLC, CLC, and lactation trained RNs.
Schedule:
This position is a temporary FTE increase to 0.9 FTE, 72 hours per two weeks, 12-hour Day/Night shifts and every third weekends.
