Job Description

Registered Nurse - Infusion Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Infusion Therapy team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in an autonomous manner by utilizing a systematic approach to nursing practice. This includes incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and PHNS policy.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, no weekends or holidays
Required Qualifications:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
Graduate from course of study in nursing resulting in a minimum of an associate degree/diploma in nursing. One or more years' experience infusion nursing Role may require completion of the ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy course or equivalent 2-day course.
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Must maintain a current state registered nurse license. BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong clinical and human relations skills. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act and PHNS. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients. Safely and effectively operates the following: Various Health Testing Equipment (depending upon area of specialty), Personal Computer, Photocopier, Printer, and Telephone.

NA Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Preferred certification in oncology nursing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Keyboarding skills preferred.
