Job Description

Cura Health is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a CNA/TMA Instructor. In this role, you will be responsible for educating and training Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and trained medication assistants (TMAs), ensuring they acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to provide excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background combined with a passion for teaching and mentoring healthcare staff. You will develop and implement engaging training programs, provide hands-on instruction, and evaluate trainee progress while promoting best practices and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, organize, and conduct instructional sessions for CNA and TMA training programs. Provide practical skills training and simulate patient care scenarios. Assess and monitor trainee performance, providing feedback and support for improvement. Update and maintain training materials in accordance with current healthcare guidelines and organizational policies. Collaborate with clinical leadership to identify educational needs and enhance workforce competencies. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and accreditation requirements. Maintain accurate records of training activities and trainee certifications. Requirements Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. Experience in clinical nursing and staff education or training. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop engaging training materials and deliver effective instruction. Knowledge of CNA and TMA roles, responsibilities, and regulatory requirements. Organizational skills to manage training schedules and documentation. Commitment to promoting high standards of patient care and professional development.
