Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) that is willing to work collaboratively with the Licensed Assisted Living Director (L.A.L.D) and Registered Nursing Manager (R.N.) at Hillcrest Senior Living (assisted living with dementia care) to continue to make Hillcrest a pleasant home for all of our residents and a wonderful working environment for all of our employees! This R.N.
role includes:
daily assessments of residents along with completing admission, 14-Day, 90-day, yearly and return from hospital assessments, teaching and training home health aides on proper way to do cares and administer medications. This position will also follow-up on doctor's orders and enter information into the electronic medical records system. A desire to learn and assist with updating current policies and procedures is also an important component of this job. Prospective candidate also needs to be patient but yet able to direct and manage multiple issues at the same time. Being able to clearly and concisely communicate directions and orders for the Home Health Aides (HHAs) to follow is vital for the care of the residents. Observing, training, and re-training Home Health Aides (HHAs) under your direction is also part of this position together with the Licensed Assisted Living Director (L.A.L.D.) and Registered Nursing Manager (R.N.) at Hillcrest Senior Living. We are looking for a team minded individual that is willing to work together, learn from mistakes, adjust, collaborate, delegate, manage their time and most importantly has a desire for the well-being of the elderly population and the care they receive.
