As a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will play a critical role in the recovery process of patients post-surgery. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care as they transition from the operating room to recovery. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic and compassionate care to patients of all ages. Provide comprehensive care to patients in the PACU, ensuring safe and effective recovery from anesthesia. Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition, intervening as necessary to address any complications. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery expectations. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
