Key Qualifications:

Active RN license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential Prior experience working with children or in pediatric settings is strongly preferred Solid assessment, triage, care planning, and communication skills Familiarity with individual healthcare plans (IHPs), emergency protocols, and state health requirements for schools Ability to work independently with flexibility, compassion, and strong organizational skills BLS/CPR certification required

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and first aid for illnesses and injuries during the school day Administer medications and manage chronic condition care for students Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans Maintain accurate student health records and support compliance with all state and school policies Serve as a health resource for students, staff, and families, promoting wellness and prevention Collaborate with educators, special services, and outside providers as needed Participate in health screenings, immunization tracking, and public health initiatives Experience the fulfillment of building trusted relationships and supporting student success in a dynamic educational setting.
