Job Description
Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Lakeview Hospital United States, Minnesota, Stillwater 927 Churchill Street West (Show on map) Sep 09, 2026 As a Registered Nurse you will assess, plan, perform, document, and evaluate professional independent nursing practice at Lakeview Hospital; to provide work direction for and oversight of the nursing care provided by unlicensed assistive personnel; to perform and document functions such as carrying out the practitioner orders; to assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures; to provide a safe and therapeutic environment; to coordinate, communicate, interpret, and explain patient care services to the patient, their family, health professionals and others; to perform related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
0.70 Nights. Every other weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing, or equivalent.
Licensed as an RN by Minnesota Board of Nursing or has a Wisconsin RN License and Minnesota Boarder State Registry
Registered nurses re-entering the nursing field, who have not completed 520 hours of nursing practice in the past four (4) years must successfully complete a recognized refresher course to qualify for employment. Written information of certification validating successful completion of a refresher course must be provided before employment.
Current BLS - American Heart Association or BLS - American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
Those without telemetry experience: Completion of telemetry course within 1 year of start date.
Those with telemetry experience: Completion of competency validation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Baccalaureate or Master's degree in Nursing
Associate Degree prepared nurses enrolled in Baccalaureate in Nursing program
Specialty Certification in the RN's area of expertise (e.g. CCRN, PCCN, CNOR, CPAN, CAPA, etc)
Acute Care experience preferred
