Job Description

If you're an RN looking for a positive workplace culture focused on safety, quality and excellence, consider becoming part of the Astera team! Astera Health currently has a Registered Nurse (RN) opening at the Wadena campus.
This position is part-time:
48 hours per biweekly pay period, 12-hour night shifts, with every third holiday and weekend rotation schedule. Some responsibilities of the Inpatient RN include, but are not limited to the following: Uses and documents the nursing process to provide individualized patient-focused care from admission to discharge Coordinates the nursing plan of care with the medical plan of care in the development and implementation of the Patient Care Plan Assists the physician with rounds, physical examinations and procedures Maintains updated age-specific competencies for infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients Performs patient care activities to provide for the physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs of the patient/family Safely administers treatments and medications Education and experience required: Current licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota Maintain active BLS Certification Astera Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
