Job Description:
Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and the Code of Professional and Business Ethics.
Responsibilities:
Annual competencies, licensures and certifications are maintained in a timely manner, completes admission assessments accurately and in a timely manner, Coordinates patient care and discharge planning with pertinent hospital staff and community resources, provides personalized, compassionate patient care addressing patient's age and cultural needs, Documentation is accurate, complete, thorough, legible and performed in a timely manner, Exhibits the ability and initiative to prioritize patient reassessments, Provides support and education in a professional manner that is received by team members and students.
Education/Credentials:
Associate's Degree in Nursing MO RN license in good standing BLS within 30 days of hire ACLS within six months of hire Why Join Us?
