Desired Skills & Experience:

Current RN or LPN license in good standing (required) Prior experience in a school setting or pediatric care preferred Exceptional communication and organizational abilities Ability to respond swiftly and professionally to medical situations Strong record-keeping and documentation skills Skill in patient education about health, hygiene, and disease prevention Collaborative approach to working with educators, parents, and outside medical professionals

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver immediate and effective care for illness or injury during school hours Administer medications and maintain accurate medication records Develop and implement individualized care plans for students with chronic conditions Conduct health screenings and manage immunization records Educate students and staff on health topics and promote wellness initiatives Maintain confidentiality and comply with all federal and state nursing guidelines Support emergency preparedness and participate in drills Interviews are being scheduled immediately, and this is a full-time, 37.5 hour per week opportunity in a welcoming middle school environment.
