You'll strengthen your resume by mastering best practices across Med Surg, oncology, and neuro-surgical recovery, and develop new leadership skills alongside accomplished healthcare professionals.
Schedule/Hours Night shift:
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM 36 or 48 hours per week (flexibility available) Every other weekend as needed 13-week assignment Qualifications Active RN license (eligibility or active Missouri license required) 1+ year recent inpatient Med Surg experience BLS certification (AHA required) ACLS (AHA) and TNCC preferred Must meet flu vaccination requirements from Nov 1-Apr 1 (Mercy Approved Exemptions accepted, not declinations) Ability to float based on staffing needs Team-oriented, patient-focused communicator Responsibilities Deliver direct, compassionate care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for diverse patient populations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate optimal patient care Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed Uphold patient rights, privacy, and confidentiality Support safe, efficient clinical environments in a 30-bed surgical/onc/neuro unit utilizing Epic EMR and advanced medical technology Benefits & Travel Perks Tax-advantaged travel stipends Premium compensation for your expertise and flexibility Travel assistance to simplify your relocation Comprehensive healthcare benefits and access to a 401(k) retirement plan Reliable job security within a nationally recognized healthcare setting Opportunities to experience the cultural, culinary, and outdoor highlights of St. Louis Advance your career, explore new places, and make a difference in patients' lives. to experience all that Fenton and the St. Louis area have to offer!
