Job Description

Exciting opportunities are available for licensed RNs and LPNs to provide essential 1:1 nursing care to students in local schools on a short-term contract basis, with the possibility of extension. These vital roles focus on supporting students with complex medical needs, ensuring their health and safety throughout the school day while maximizing educational access. Assignments are located in well-respected school environments, each with a single student per assignment and supportive colleagues. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours weekly, and requires on-site attendance. Engage directly in making a difference for students ranging in age from 5 to 19, each with individualized care requirements including seizure disorders, G-tube feeding, mobility assistance, medication management, and accompanying bus rides as needed.
Qualifications:
Active RN or LPN licensure in Missouri Current CPR/BLS certification Comfort with bus transportation and wheelchair transfers Demonstrated experience with medication administration, G-tube feedings, and seizure management Able to provide full dependent personal care (including 2-person assists) Drug screening and fingerprinting eligibility required Ability to complete time-sensitive online seizure disorder training and documentation as provided Candidates must disclose any previous application to the district, including outcomes
