Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current RN license (unencumbered) Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric nursing preferred Confidence in managing complex medical needs, including epilepsy, developmental delays, hypotonia, neuromuscular scoliosis, dysphagia management (thickened liquids), and genetic conditions Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families CPR/BLS certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 nursing support to a student from drop-off (12:00 pm) through the end of the session (3:15 pm), including bus transport if needed Monitor, document, and respond to student's medical needs, including seizure management and feeding protocols Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure student safety and participation Communicate daily with parents/guardians as necessary regarding the student's care
