A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description

Role Overview:
Provides professional nursing care within a medical practice, supporting physicians in patient treatment and completing clinical paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists with medical treatments, procedures, and patient education; communicates compassionately with patients, families, visitors, and staff; and performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must have graduated from an accredited nursing school, hold a valid state nursing license, and obtain CPR certification within 90 days. Knowledge of nursing principles, medications, safety practices, and medical equipment is required. Ability to react calmly in emergencies, interpret guidelines, communicate effectively, and maintain professional relationships. Basic computer skills or willingness to learn are necessary.
Additional Requirements:
No prior experience required. Must be able to operate clinic-related equipment and adhere to all relevant regulations and policies.
