Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Home Health division covering the Maryville, MO area. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive health services to patients, particularly seniors requiring medical-surgical care. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including evaluating vital signs and overall health status. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Maintain accurate medical records using Healthcare Strategies software to ensure compliance with healthcare standards. Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management, including family planning and senior care. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to achieve optimal health outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards in the home environment. Requirements Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri. Proven experience in home health nursing or a similar setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and standards of care. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and vital signs monitoring. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a home setting. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on enhancing quality of life. Pay is based on per visit. Range is from $38.00•$90.00 depending on visit type.
