Job Description

SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing/charge nurse, patients and families are provided competent holistic care based on the nursing process.
EXPERIENCE
One year medical/surgical experience preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Advanced EKG preferred.

Experienced nurses must have ACLS upon hire, graduate nurses and nurses new to Critical Care must attain ACLS within 12 months of hire/transition.
OTHER:
Basic computer skills
LICENSE/CERT
Required:
BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) within 1 year of hire
Preferred:
CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
EDUCATION
Required:
Associates -
Nursing, Preferred:
Bachelors - Nursing
