1 Description American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) night shift position at a small critical access hospital in Perryville, MO, requiring 2+ years of experience and a strong labor background. Details LDRP unit within a 24-bed critical access hospital with a small-town feel Unit features 7 total rooms including 2 dedicated labor rooms, averaging 8 deliveries per month Staffed with 2 nurses per shift Night shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (3x12 schedule)
EMR:
Epic Floating required within scope as needed; travelers are not expected to take patients on medical units Weekend hours are minimal, primarily to cover core staff PTO No on-call requirements Requirements Active MO or Compact RN license required BLS required; ACLS preferred NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required Minimum 2 years of recent L&D/obstetrics experience required Strong labor background required; L&D specialty experience preferred Fetal monitoring experience preferred Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted No employment gaps of 90 or more days within the past 12 months Additional Information Candidates must be independent and confident in their skills, and comfortable working in a small clinical setting Facility scrubs are provided Flu vaccination is required for all travelers working between November 1 and April 1; exemptions must be client-approved Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a reduced bill rate Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts; after that, a 1-year separation or reassignment outside the 50-mile radius is required before returning No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment will be accepted unless documentation of a scheduled renewal is provided This is a 13-week contract
