Gifted Healthcare is seeking an LTAC Registered Nurse to deliver high-acuity, evidence-based care to medically complex patients in a long-term acute care setting. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, manage ventilators, tracheostomies, and complex wounds, administer medications, and closely monitor patient status. Responsibilities Deliver high-acuity LTAC nursing care, including ventilator and tracheostomy management Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital trends, and respond to changes in patient condition Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform complex wound and line care per protocols Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers on individualized care plans and discharge goals Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMRSupport a culture of safety, evidence-based practice, and regulatory compliance Contribute to a supportive, clinician-centered environment and mentor peers as appropriate Required Skills Long-term acute care (LTAC) nursing Ventilator management Wound care and complex dressing changes Telemetry monitoring and rhythm recognition IV therapy and central line management Medication administration and titration Tracheostomy care and suctioning Care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration Patient and family education Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
