3x12-Hour Shifts Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) travel assignment in Joplin, Missouri. The RN will provide specialized nursing care to medically complex and critically ill patients in an LTAC setting while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes. This role is ideal for nurses with LTAC, telemetry, acute care, or critical care experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Primary Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to LTAC patients Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on patient care plans Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection prevention protocols Coordinate and prioritize patient care activities effectively Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nursing program Active RN License required Current BLS Certification required Previous RN experience required Ability to work 12-hour day shifts Preferred Qualifications LTAC, acute care, telemetry, or critical care experience preferred Experience caring for medically complex patients preferred Strong patient assessment and monitoring abilities For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
