Position Summary:

Directs all activities within an organized department for the purpose of delivery of optimal patient care in a therapeutic and cost-effective manner. Assists with human resources management activities, such as staff scheduling, staff development, and performance monitoring. Is accountable for department on a 24-hour basis. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke's mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education:

Associate's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare.

Experience:

5 years RN or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

License:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer. Benefits for a
