Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including triage, assessment, and treatment Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions following physician orders and protocols Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond quickly to emergencies Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate quality care Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards in all clinical activities Support department flow by assisting with admission, transfer, and discharge processes Required Skills Emergency nursing Patient triage IV insertion and therapy Medication administration Cardiac monitoring ACLS protocols PALS or ENPC care Wound and trauma care Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Infection control procedures
