Qualifications & Experience:

Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license Previous experience as a school nurse or nurse educator is highly preferred Knowledge of age-appropriate care for middle school students Ability to navigate health records, create care plans, and respond to emergency situations Effective communication skills with students, staff, and parents Up-to-date CPR and first aid certifications Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities:

Deliver routine care, manage medications, and track immunizations for a middle school population Address student health concerns and respond promptly to injuries or acute illness Collaborate with educators to identify health-related barriers to learning Provide education on health topics relevant to adolescents, such as hygiene, nutrition, and emotional wellness Serve as a health resource for staff and families, advocating for student wellness Maintain confidential and accurate health records in compliance with school policies Implement and monitor care plans for students with chronic conditions Uphold infection control protocols and respond to public health concerns Enjoy the satisfaction of supporting young learners and contributing to a caring, energetic academic community.
