Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting, including triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans Respond quickly to emergencies, stabilizing critical patients and operating life-saving equipment as needed Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards to ensure excellent patient outcomes Support a positive, respectful work environment aligned with Gifted Healthcare's clinician-centered culture Required Skills Emergency room nursing Patient triage and assessment IV insertion and medication administration Cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretation Advanced life support and resuscitation Wound care and emergency procedures Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Infection control and patient safety Interdisciplinary care coordination Patient and family education
