Qualifications Current Mississippi LPN or RN license. Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience in a physician office, specialty clinic, hospital, or other healthcare setting preferred. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment. Experience with electronic health records preferred. Gastroenterology experience is a plus but not required. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming patient calls and clinical inquiries. Assess patient concerns and determine appropriate triage, scheduling, or provider review. Process medication refill requests according to established protocols. Obtain prior authorizations for medications, biologic medications, diagnostic testing, and imaging studies. Assist with management of patient assistance programs and specialty medication coordination Coordinate referrals, specialty consultations, and pre-procedure clearances. Assist patients with treatment instructions, procedure preparation, and medication education. Collaborate with providers, infusion services, care management programs, pharmacies, and external healthcare organizations. Monitor and reconcile outstanding clinical orders and follow-up items. Assist with coverage and clinical workflow support as needed.
