This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses eager to work within a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) setting that sees a broad range of cases—medical, orthopedic, general surgery, gastrointestinal procedures, telemetry, and stepdown-level care.

Schedule/Hours:

13-week assignment Rotating shifts: Rotation 1: Monday to Sunday with varied presence across weekdays and the weekend Rotation 2: Includes consecutive nights and rotating weekdays/weekends

Qualifications:

Active Mississippi RN license BLS certification required Minimum of 3 years' recent Med-Surg experience highly preferred Solid proficiency with EPIC electronic health records Able to confidently manage 5-7 patients per shift, including several total care cases

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver quality nursing care to a diverse patient population across medical, orthopedic, surgical, telemetry, and intermediate care levels Accurately document patient interventions and status using EPIC Respond to patient needs and emergencies with professionalism and timeliness Effectively collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to strive for optimal patient outcomes Manage the care of higher-acuity stepdown patients when needed Participate in ongoing education and professional development within the unit
