A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
Schedule:
as needed Monday - Friday (no weekends, holidays, or on-call)Hours:
Dayshift, flexible hours Pre-op, Operating Room, or PACU experience preferredIN THIS POSITION YOU WILL
Assist with patient procedures and the implementation of provider care plans. Observe and enforce strict standards of asepsis, environmental cleanliness, and traffic control in the operating room. Direct unlicensed, assistive personnel of the perioperative team towards safe and competent patient care.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED SKILLS
A valid MS Registered Nurse license, or Compact State license. Current BLS and ACLS (or able to obtain ACLS within 30 days of employment) Knowledge of EMR systems and technologies The capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity.WHAT WE OFFER
