Woodland Recovery Center provides evidence-based, multi-level care for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our mission is to support our patients as they achieve their recovery and wellness goals through our inpatient and outpatient treatment programs. Families and communities throughout Mississippi and beyond can find hope and healing through the care offered at Woodland Recovery Center. We are seeking a Night R egistered Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurses to add to our dynamic team who can support our Primary Mental Health Unit! Woodland nurses play a critical role in delivering high-quality nursing care ensuring the health and well-being of residents. This position involves comprehensive patient care while maintaining clear and compassionate communication with patients and their families. Nurses will educate patients on health maintenance and treatment plans, promoting recovery and enhancing quality of life. Working collaboratively with healthcare teams, our nurses ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements. Ultimately, this role is essential in providing personalized, attentive care that supports the physical and emotional needs of each resident in a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs and administering medications Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times Minimum Qualifications Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice Excellent customer service skills Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members Preferred Qualifications Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient education and advocacy CPR and First Aid certification We're officially a Great Place to Work® !
