Older Adult/Geriatric Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate Pulmonary Nurse to join our dynamic team! A Pulmonary Nurse specializes in the care of patients with respiratory disorders such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and pneumonia. Their responsibilities include conducting respiratory assessments, monitoring pulmonary function, administering medications, providing oxygen therapy, and educating patients on lung health and disease management. Responsibilities Conducting respiratory assessments Monitoring vitals and pulmonary function Providing oxygen therapy and breathing techniques Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and self-management strategies. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
