Overview This travel assignment is for a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Helena, Montana, United States.
Start date:
09/27/2026.
Duration:
14 weeks.
Weekly pay:
$2,510-$2,644 per week.
Guaranteed hours:
36 per week.
Shift:
rotating 2x3 (12-hour shifts).
Setting:
hospital.

Setting:
hospital Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients in labor and delivery, including monitoring maternal and fetal status and assessing progress. Administer medications, manage labor analgesia programs, and perform fetal heart monitoring per protocol. Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean deliveries; participate in OR circulator activities for OB procedures as needed. Document care in the electronic medical record (Epic) and ensure accurate, timely communication with the multidisciplinary team. Maintain sterile technique, patient safety, and asepsis; participate in patient and family education. May float to Medical-Surgical (MS), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Emergency Department (ER) for support as needed. Requirements Active Montana license or Montana compact license on file at submission.
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN fetal heart monitoring required; all certs must be active and on file at submission.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of OB/L&D experience; OB experience with OR circulator duties strongly preferred.
EMR:
Epic experience required.
Education:
Not specified beyond standard RN requirements; must be able to work in an obstetric hospital setting and support OB operations.
Additional:
Ability to work in a hospital/L&D environment with potential float to
MS/ICU/ER
as needed.
