The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional patient care in an intensive care environment, leveraging advanced clinical skills and rapid decision-making to support positive patient outcomes.
Schedule & Hours:
Contract position, working 40 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license with good standing Minimum of one year recent experience in an ICU setting Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong assessment and monitoring skills Ability to respond quickly and calmly in high-pressure situations Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct critical care to patients in the ICU, including vigilant monitoring and timely interventions Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other interdisciplinary professionals to execute precise care plans Assess patient conditions, document changes, and update medical records with high accuracy Administer medications, manage ventilators, monitor vital signs, and perform routine assessments Educate patients and families regarding treatments and recovery processes Adhere to strict infection control protocols and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
Compensation & Benefits:
