Key Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current) Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control practices, and surgical instrumentation Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills Ability to remain calm and effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care during all phases of surgery—preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative Prepare the operating room by setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies according to procedure requirements Scrub and circulate as needed, assisting surgeons and surgical teams throughout procedures Monitor patients and respond to their needs before, during, and after surgery Accurately document nursing actions, patient responses, and relevant observations in electronic medical records Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety protocols to promote outstanding patient care Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care
