Job Summary and Qualifications Schedule:

PRN, looking for 2-6 shifts per pay period. Bi-weekly.

Call:

Weekend and holiday call required, can be discussed. The CVOR at Mission Hospital in Asheville is a fast paced, efficient operating room. One of the busiest in the Southeast and performs the most surgeries, per surgeon, of any hospital in the state. It is a 6-room operating suite (included in that is 1 Hybrid room) with four surgeons operating. We perform Open-Heart procedures such as; CABG, Aortic Valve Replacement, Mitral Valve Repair/Replace, Tricuspid Valve Repair, Dissections, Tavr's, etc. We also perform Thoracic Surgeries (Lung). We do not perform transplants, robotic, or pediatric surgery.

Self/preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance for you to have predictability in your schedule Culture of mutual respect and collaboration among all surgical staff Continuous investment in equipment including surgical instruments, devices and patient positioning for you to do your best work with patient safety and workflow efficiency in the Operating Room Rounding with unit leaders, including charge nurses, to ensure your voice is heard on suggestions for patient care and surgical workflow improvement On-call is required during select non-business hours What qualifications you will need:

Required Experience:

1+ years of CVOR nursing experience

Required Education:

Associates Degree in Nursing.

Preferred Education:

Master's in Nursing.

Preferred Certification:

National Certification in area of specialty

Required License:
