•Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Wilmington, NC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 3×12-Hour Shifts (18:45-07:15) | 36 or 48 hours per week accepted | Contracts of 13-26 weeks accepted Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5-6 Utilize Epic for documentation, Pyxis for medication management, and SBAR for communication Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule Care for patients in an isolation area designated for infectious disease precautions; stepdown-level patients are managed by separate staff May be assigned to a Storm Team or Hurricane Team and expected to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters Required Qualifications Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact RN license (pending licensure acceptable at time of submission) BLS certification required Must pass EKG testing prior to start Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience Must be available for daily orientation classes during week 1 (24-hour orientation total); pre-start modules must be completed prior to start date Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are welcome to apply; a local pay rate will apply Preferred Experience / Skills Charge nurse experience preferred Experience floating within a hospital setting Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication frameworks Why Join Us First-time travelers are welcome, making this an excellent opportunity to launch a travel nursing career Flexible contract lengths of 13-26 weeks with options for 36 or 48 expected hours per week to fit your scheduling needs Apply For This Job
