II - ICU
Location:

UNC Medical Center in

Chapel Hill, NC Salary Range:

RN II $34.22 - $48.38 per hour (Hiring Range)

Schedule:

full-time, 36 hours/week (12hrs x 3 days). Rotating day, night, weekend shifts. Shift differentials offered. Details About The Unit:

30-bed critical care unit Offers interprofessional care for critically ill patients having a wide range of medical and pulmonary diagnoses Has a rapidly growing oncology patient population which offers RNs additional experience of developing oncology critical-care subspecialty skills The unit has a strong sense of teamwork and are continuously teaching and learning

Preferred Experience:

Previous critical care

Education Requirements:

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.

• If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

Professional Experience Requirements:

• One (1) year of nursing experience.
