Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience Demonstrated competence with patient assessment, medication administration, and critical thinking Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and standard hospital equipmentResponsibilities:
Deliver skilled nursing care to patients on the medical-surgical floor, adhering to established protocols and safety standards Conduct ongoing assessments, monitor patients' conditions, and accurately document observations and interventions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Administer medications, IV therapies, and assist with procedures as needed Educate patients and their families, providing clear instructions on post-discharge care and answering questions compassionately Maintain a safe and supportive environment, responding promptly to emergencies and changes in patient status Participate in shift handovers and contribute to process improvements on the unit Enjoy a meaningful contract role that allows you to work alongside top healthcare professionals while making a difference in patients' lives.
