Cath Lab Nurse (RN) in Concord, NC

Schedule and Hours:

10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week Shifts run from 7:00 AM to 5:30

PM Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current, unencumbered RN license Recent experience as a Cath Lab RN, with strong clinical skills in interventional cardiology BLS and ACLS certifications required Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations, meet rapid call back times (1 hour for Vascular, 30 minutes for STEMI) Excellent assessment, monitoring, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, monitor, and assist patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures Administer medications and monitor patient status throughout procedures Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record Respond promptly for on-call and call back duties, maintaining required response time Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care Adhere to department protocols and consistently deliver high standards of care Participate in departmental meetings and ongoing quality improvement
