Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a stepdown or progressive care setting Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills Ability to manage chest tubes, titrate drips, and respond rapidly to changing patient conditions Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage patients with complex medical needs, providing vigilant care between the ICU and general nursing units Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Administer prescribed medications, manage IV drips, and perform wound care as needed Document patient conditions, interventions, and observed changes accurately and promptly Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to deliver optimal outcomes Educate patients and family members on recovery processes, medications, and post-discharge instructions Respond quickly to patient emergencies, maintaining high standards of patient safety This is a contract position, offering a chance to apply your expertise in a supportive and fast-paced healthcare setting.
