Working under supervision, they evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans . They review team performance, offer feedback and mentoring , and organize orientation, education, and clinical development activities . Additionally, they manage department schedules and staffing for optimal patient throughput . Qualifications include a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (or Associates Degree for those hired before a specified date), minimum two years RN experience , with one year in a clinical specialty. Required licensure includes a North Carolina or Compact state RN license and BLS certification .
