1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry for a cardiac unit position requiring BLS, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Details Medical Surgical Telemetry unit within a 355-bed hospital housing brain, cancer, heart, lung, orthopedic, and surgical centers 24-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio Generalized cardiac patient population ranging from young adults to elderly adults Common diagnoses include chest pain, A-fib, CHF, and pre/post care for cardiac catheterizations (groin & radial) and VATS Uses Life Paks, Zoll, Masimo, and Cerner EMR Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Required to work every other weekend May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units No on-call requirements Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Associate's degree required Experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo equipment required Cerner EMR experience preferred Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provide cardiac nursing care within a family-oriented unit Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full time Scrubs of any color are acceptable Must start on one of the designated orientation dates in October, November, or December 2026
